Water sports for all ages!

ADULT ACTIVITIES

Aquabiking – cycling in water and much more!

Aquabiking is a type of aquagym that’s done on a bike (an exercise bike, as found in all gyms). But it’s in the water, which makes all the difference!

Sessions last 45 minutes and are accompanied by music.

You still get a cardio-vascular workout, but the resistance of the water means a different level of effort is involved, which brings a whole range of benefits. Your heart rate is 10% slower than in air and fat-burning is prioritised. Tempted? Sign up here. Booking required.

Aquabiking for SENIORS

Aquabiking is a type of aquagym that’s done on a bike (an exercise bike, as found in all gyms). But it’s in the water, which makes all the difference!

Sessions last 30 minutes and are accompanied by music.

The pace is less demanding than in regular aquabiking sessions.

Aquagym

Aquagym is a great way to combine the relaxation and pleasure of a swimming pool with the benefits of physical exercise.

Sessions last 30 minutes.

When the body is immersed in water, it weighs only a third of its weight on land, which makes all movements easier. So aquagym is especially suitable for people who aren’t necessarily super fit.

It’s said that 30 minutes of aquagym is equal to 90 minutes of land-based exercise

(in both cases you burn 600 calories!)

Classes are free and available daily, all year round.

Aquajogging: yes, you can run in the water!

Aquajogging (or aquarunning) is a sport that involves reproducing the movements of running in water.

Sessions last 30 minutes.

This activity is a new type of aquagym. It offers many physical benefits: because of the water pressure, blood returns to the heart more easily when your heart rate increases, so you suffer less than during normal jogging. Water jogging develops flexibility, strength and endurance.

Aquaboxing

Aquaboxing is practised wearing special boxing gloves (provided by Nautiland) and involves performing choreographed movements to music in the water. It’s a more vigorous version of aquagym. This choreography is made up of punches and kicks.

Sessions last 40 minutes.

Aquaboxing is a sport that allows you to let off steam safely: because it takes place in the water, there’s no danger of injury or making a bad movement.
